Sequestim is a joint venture between Cardiff University - specifically the Astrophysics Instrumentation Group and QMC Instruments, and is the result of a decade of hard work by Ken Wood (pictured above) and his colleagues to bring 0.3 Kelvin Kinetic Inductor Detector Technology to the commercial world. The work has been partially funded by the UK Home Office's "Future Aviation Sucurity Solutions" (FASS) programme
